Kids 4 – 8

So you have decided to host a party for a kid? Well, you came to a right place, here you are going to find lots of information on games, decorations, food, timing, invitations and lots of more for your child birthday.
Place
It is important to chose a right place, now probably the most perfect places is your back yard (if you have one) for many reasons, but you must follow a weather  forecast since you want a perfect weather for a birthday. Back yard is best because all of the mess that children leave after a party is easier to clean up.
If you don’t have a back yard, you can set the birthday in your living room, or the biggest room in your house or apartment.  But don’t worry if you don’t have any of the points listed above, there are lots of places for rent, for e.g. Party restaurants, they have play grounds and everything for your child and friends. Those places are usually big enough so don’t worry about the amount of people attending the party.
Invitations
There are lots of ways to invite children into a party, now age 4 – 8 they are just starting to read so the text should be easy to read and should be done with your child so he and you would get some family fun.
How invitations are made:
Fold a4 page into a half as showed in picture below

This is a front of your invitation so be creative, let your child draw something on it, doesn’t matter what
-----------------Picture---------------------
Now this is the inside of your invitation, usually as a standard invitation text is on a right and little image on left e.g.

Done, you have a nice invitation ready, now you can photo copy it and spread the word about your Childs birthday party.

Decorations
Now you have invitations ready, it is time to prepare decorations.  Most of children parties can be
decorated with balloons and “Happy Birthday” posters. But that’s not all, you can add a dress code
For example

Or something like this:

Dress code should be something that Kids like, cartoon characters, animals and so on.
If you want to put more effort into it, decorate your party with live actors, pay them to dress like character, for e.g.  Whinie pooh, or whatever you kid likes.

Food

Since children play in birthday parties, they get hungry. Let’s begin with the cake.
Find your local bakery shop, and order a cake. It can be anything, from a car to a football. For girls: horses, phonies and princesses. Bakery will do everything for you.
The second thing you want take care of are the main dishes, you could do a nice BBQ (barbeque) in your backyard. It’s tasty, special and easy to cook and most important fun.
Drinks

Now at this age, your kid would prefer fizzy drinks, well… It’s his birthday, let him have that.

Games
There are plenty of board games you can buy for your child. I think the best birthday game would be “Pin the tail on the donkey”. It is a great fun! Here is some other games:

Extra
